Between 3D Nano and 3D Silicon, take the 3D Nano unless you already know the other one is what you want.
Which heads in this range are for pigment work rather than needling?
Five of them: the 1-pin, 3-pin and 5-pin fine heads, and the F5 and F7 flat tips. They carry a point or a flat row rather than a grid of needles, and they are used shallow, to place pigment along a line or fill a small area. Everything from the 9-pin upward is a needling head, and the four nano heads have no needles at all.
Does the E30 ship with cartridges, and which ones?
The E30 arrives with two 12-pin cartridges, along with its charger and travel case. The 12-pin is a sensible head to have two of, since it is the standard facial size, but two heads is not a stock — most owners run their first few sessions, find the head they reach for most, and order that one in a set.
Do all four pens take exactly the same heads?
Yes — all 14 heads in this listing fit the E30, M7, M5 and N2.
