Drpenofficial.store is an official Dr. Pen authorized retailer. Every Dr. Pen Q1S purchased from our store is a genuine Dr. Pen device with authenticity verification. The Q1S puts electric microneedling, EMS microcurrent and red and blue LED light on one wireless pen, with five speed levels and a depth range of 0 to 1.5 mm.
Electric microneedling, EMS microcurrent, and red and blue LED in one wireless pen
The three modes run from the same body and are selected independently, and each has its own control, so nothing has to be sequenced.
- Five speed levels, set from the pen itself. The SPEED button steps from level 1 to level 5 and the current level stays lit on the display; speed sets how quickly a pass is completed rather than how deep the needles travel.
- Depth from 0 to 1.5 mm, held on a dial. The ring at the head runs the full range and keeps its position until it is turned, so the setting used across the cheekbone is the one that reaches the jaw.
- EMS microcurrent at three intensity levels. The EMS button steps through three levels, with the current cycling at 0.5 to 0.7 Hz, and the mode can be run alongside needling or on its own.
- Red and blue LED, switched on their own button. Blue is emitted at 465 ± 5 nm and red at 637 ± 5 nm, and the two are selected rather than run together.
- Wireless, with Type-C charging. A 700 mAh cell gives around three hours of continuous use from a full charge, and the Type-C port takes the supplied cable for the next one.
- An ABS body with a touch panel. The controls are labelled EMS, LED and SPEED alongside a single ON/OFF, and the active settings read from the panel rather than from a separate unit.
- Heads for the face, the body and the scalp. The line runs heads at 9, 14 and 25 needles plus a Nano head, and the 14-needle head is built as a flat field for scalp-part work, where the needles sit in a line rather than around a circle.

Who the Q1S suits
The Q1S suits someone who wants one device on the shelf rather than three, because the needling, the microcurrent and the light are all selected from the same panel. It is not a professional-only tool: five speed levels and a dial that starts at zero let a first routine be run shallow and slow, and the same range reaches 1.5 mm for someone who has worked with a pen before.

Complete Your Microneedling Setup
The head opens the channels and the serum decides what goes into them, and on the Q1S the microcurrent and the light sit either side of the same moment.
How to check your Dr. Pen Q1S is genuine
Verification should cover the heads as well as the pen. Genuine Dr. Pen heads are sealed individually and carry a printed manufacturing date and expiry date; counterfeit heads arrive loose in unmarked packaging with no dates, and are the usual cause of irritation, uneven results and needles that drag rather than cut cleanly.
Every Q1S we supply comes through the official Dr. Pen supply chain, and the checks you can carry out yourself are set out in how to verify your Dr. Pen. If the heads received do not appear correct, contact us before use.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Do the three modes on the Q1S have to be used together?
The three are selected independently from the same panel, so a session can run needling alone, needling with microcurrent, or the light on its own without a needle pass. The conventional order is needling first, then serum, with the light used at the end, and the microcurrent added once the needling step is familiar.
What depth should a Q1S session start at?
Start shallow. The dial begins at zero and runs to 1.5 mm, and a first routine on the face is normally kept in the shallower half of that range, with the forehead, the cheeks and the jaw taking more than the area around the eyes. Greater depth is not the same as a better result, since the depth that suits an area is the one that reaches the layer being worked without going further than it needs to. The ranges that are safe for each area are covered in the needle depth chart.
Does the Q1S use the same heads as the Bio Pen Q2?
Yes. The Q1S and the Bio Pen Q2 share one head line, so a pack bought for either pen seats on both. That line covers 9-pin, 14-pin, 25-pin and Nano heads, supplied in packs of five or ten. Nothing from another Dr. Pen or Hydra Pen model fits this connection.
Can the Q1S be used on the scalp?
Yes, and the 14-pin head is the one shaped for it: its needle field is flat and laid in a line, so it sits along a parted section rather than around a circular area. Scalp work is normally kept shallower than a facial pass, and the same parted section should not be reworked until the redness from the previous session has cleared.
How often should the Q1S be used, and does the mode change that?
Needling sessions run every four to six weeks, which is the interval the skin needs to rebuild between them. Nano sessions, where the head does not break the surface, can run every one to two weeks, and the light and microcurrent modes can be used between needling sessions without interrupting that interval. The rebuild is what the session is for, so shortening the gap works against it rather than adding to it.
How long does the Q1S run on a full charge?
Around three hours of continuous use from a full charge, on a 700 mAh cell. Charging is over the Type-C port with the cable supplied, and the pen runs wireless, so no cord is attached during a session.
Can the Q1S be used on the body as well as the face?
Yes. The neck, the chest and the backs of the hands are worked with the same pen, at a depth suited to the thickness of the skin in that area rather than at a facial setting. A wider head is used on body areas, since a larger surface has to be covered in the same number of passes.
